Fast and systematic substance selection

For purchasing decisions, computer-based methods can be used to quickly compare chemicals or product components according to specific properties or criteria and to generate a ranking list.

For product development and targeted product improvement, a substance list can be used to quickly and reliably find all those chemical substances and active pharmaceutical ingredients that have certain properties, such as a specific water solubility, volatility, or that are non-toxic.

For the prioritization in the planning of experimental investigations, the substances to be investigated preferentially can be selected, e.g. all substances that are to be regarded as mutagenic or carcinogenic are initially not pursued further experimentally.
